Repair Technician

Overview

Do you enjoy trade work? Do you like doing different types of repairs, rather than the same thing over and over? Do you have the self-discipline to complete tasks independently and well? If you answer yes to these questions, we want to hire you as one of our repair specialists. Our company works exclusively with self-storage properties. We are looking for serious candidates with a good driving record, required tools, and experience.

Experience in light electrical, carpentry, garage door repair and mechanical thinking are all a plus. Most of the repairs involve the function and security of self-storage facilities by maintaining working safety features such as large bay doors, unit doors, gates and lighting. You will be trained by a supervisor, and work with them on many jobs; however, working independently will be the goal.

There will be larger projects that will require you to work with additional crew members and sub-contractors.

• Perform repairs and maintenance for self-storage facilities, focusing on doors, gates, lighting, and safety features to ensure operation and security.
• Work on a variety of trades including light electrical, carpentry, garage door repair, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with a supervisor on jobs and, when appropriate, work independently to complete tasks.
• Participate in larger projects that involve additional crew members and subcontractors.

C4H Building Specialist works specifically with self-storage facilities. Our Corporate office is located in Troy, Michigan, but we have technicians working in Ohio and Illinois as well. The self-storage industry is very busy, and the variety of work we offer these facilities has made us a premiere vendor in our locations.
