Field Service Engineer

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER – HIGH & LOW FREQUENCY Columbus, OH

Our client, a leader in induction systems is seeking skilled Field Service Engineers to support both high-frequency and low-frequency induction systems. In this role, you’ll travel to customer sites, primarily in Midwest to Southeast to install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial induction power supplies and related equipment.

• Install, repair, and maintain induction power supplies (HF & LF), coils, furnaces, busswork, refractory, water systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and material-handling equipment
• Work safely with high and or low voltage circuitry
• Perform PLC-related service tasks and use electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, Hi-pots, frequency generators)
• Travel up to 80% domestically
• Support customers under high-pressure conditions; train less-experienced technicians; assist with drawings and internal service requests

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology (or equivalent)
• Industrial electrical experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with standard test equipment
• Excellent judgment, accountability, and customer-service presence
