Facilities Maintenance Technician
Join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, where you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the infrastructure of a bustling mall environment. This role offers opportunities for growth and development, with a focus on either a day or night shift depending on your skills and preference.
Responsibilities- Perform general facilities maintenance, preventive maintenance, and service calls.
- Work on project-based tasks, including setting up and tearing down Christmas lights and decorations.
- Manage plumbing tasks, such as maintaining sinks, drains, faucets, toilets, urinals, and piping.
- Handle electrical maintenance for security systems, alarm systems, outlets, sockets, and lighting.
- Conduct groundskeeping duties, including trash and landscape pickup, and snow removal as needed.
- Perform light carpentry tasks, such as fixing doors and locks.
- 2-5+ years of facilities maintenance experience in a commercial, industrial, or hotel setting.
- Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and mechanical maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in pool maintenance and certifications.
- HVAC knowledge or plumbing license is a plus.
- Reliable vehicle for transportation.

Work EnvironmentWork primarily in the common areas of Easton Mall, including halls, entrances, bathrooms, outdoors, and breezeways. Note that tenants are responsible for their own store maintenance, and no HVAC work is required as it is contracted out.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
