Reports to the Director of Building Services; works under the lead technician.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing service and repairs to dental equipment.
• Assisting with minor building system repairs and moving equipment/furniture.
• Assisting with the design, construction, and installation of electronic devices used on dental equipment.
• Performing various duties related to building services as directed by the supervisor.

Work schedule:

7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; may need to work evenings, weekends, and 24/7 emergency call‑in. May work at satellite facilities and training at off‑site locations.

Hiring Range: $19.28 – $25.19 per hour.

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
• 100 hours training in operating electrical tools & equipment, or equivalent experience.
• Driver’s license.

Desired qualifications:

• Experience with repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical measuring meters, power‑driven shop tools, and common hand tools.
• Basic understanding of reading blueprints, plumbing, and patch/paint experience.

Additional information:

• May work at satellite facilities and training at off‑site locations.
• Subject to working conditions involving dirt, chemical fumes, electrical hazards, power equipment, and heights up to 30 ft.
• Frequent lifting of moderate to heavy objects (50+ lbs).
• Driver of a state vehicle.
