As an Underground Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing Vermeer horizontal/directional drill rigs and plows, DCI F-5 locating equipment, and supporting a major telecommunications infrastructure project. You will maintain direct contact with the manager of underground construction to ensure efficient production and direct your team to achieve Charter’s network protection and growth.

• At least three years of drilling/locating experience, underground utility construction, and telecommunication installation construction. Clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of city, county, and state clearance codes; ability to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams for the project.
• Strong communication skills: read, write, and speak English; interpret blueprints; communicate clearly and professionally.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record; travel up to 80% of the time to project sites.

• At least five years of horizontal drill experience and practical knowledge of underground construction equipment for conduit and fiber installation.
• OSHA safety certification, operator qualifications, Class A CDL, valid driver’s license.

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $60,900.00 and $97,700.00
. Additional incentive-based compensation such as bonuses may be available.
