Area Energy & Electric is currently seeking a regional HVAC/Plumbing Service Manager for our Regal Mechanical division in the Columbus, Marysville, and Marion offices. The position can be based out of any market, but Columbus is preferred. This is a great opportunity for a driven person with entrepreneurial spirit who wants to grow a service division in a rapidly growing market.
JobType
- Full-time, Monday - Friday 1st shift
- Nights and Weekends as required (not typical)
- Paid for field work after hours

- Product and vendor knowledge (or the ability to quickly learn it)
- Universal EPA License
- Min. 5 years HVAC service tech experience
- Min. 3 years customer service experience
- Min. 2 years dispatching technicians
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Invoicing experience
- Manage 4-5 fulltime HVAC service techs and 1-2 part time Plumbers
- Fleet and tool management (GPS, Maintenance, stock, replacement, etc)
- Manage refrigeration records
- Approve timecards
- Create/Manage service contracts
- Process invoices for billing
- Audit service work orders
- Live Dispatching
- Communication on call information to answering service
- Assist techs with troubleshooting and sources materials
- Process and schedule incoming service requests and other approved work
- Keep customers information as current as possible and all other duties assigned
- Develop and maintain relationships with an assigned customer base, including key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services always
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships
- Monitor sales trends and product performance results
- Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field
As a condition of employment, all employees must furnish and utilize a smart phone with internet capability and access for daily work-related time keeping purposes.
Must complete an OSHAA 30 within 30 days of employment, which will be funded by Area Energy & Electric, Inc.
