As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Concierge in Columbus, OH
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a strong visible presence. You will interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with team members.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Report and document any incidents, observations, or concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Assist with crowd management and help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities within the retail environment.
• Collaborate with store management and other team members to address security-related concerns and promote a welcoming atmosphere for customers.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
