QC Scientist IJob Description
- Perform assigned analytical tasks in support of product development, registration lot release, and regulatory submission activities.
- Complete activities within assigned timelines while ensuring compliance with cGXP standards and company practices.
- Follow work instructions, SOPs, and company practices, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of analytical activities and results.
- Identify challenges in analytical methods and support troubleshooting activities.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure all documentation is right-first time.
- Proficiency in dilutions, sample preparation, and wet chemistry.
- Strong background in chemistry or biochemistry.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related science field is required.
- Candidates with degrees in Biology, Microbiology, or Pharmaceutical Science with strong chemistry lab experience will also be considered.
- Prior lab experience, especially outside of academia, is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work with supervision using scientific judgment and professional competency.
The role is set in a fast-paced environment where you will spend time in both the quality group and occasionally the manufacturing area. The position operates on a 2nd shift schedule, Monday to Friday from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, with some flexibility. Initially, the schedule will be five 8-hour shifts, transitioning to four 10-hour shifts after training. This environment offers ample opportunities for growth and upward mobility within the organization.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
