Position Summary
The Sales & Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic relationship marketing, referral development, and territory expansion within the insurance and property management sectors. This role is ideal for a competitive, relationship-driven professional who understands the urgency and responsiveness required in the restoration industry. Fire and water restoration is an emergency services business; this is not a traditional 9–5 role.
While the standard day begins at 8:00 AM, flexibility and availability during high-volume events (storms, large-loss claims, catastrophic events) are required. This position operates in a hybrid structure, combining field-based relationship development, in-office collaboration, and remote administrative follow-up.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $65,000–$85,000 annually (Based on experience, industry knowledge, and established network connections)
- Commission:
Performance-based earnings tied to revenue growth and referral production - Company vehicle provided

- Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with insurance adjusters, agents, property managers, and commercial accounts.
- Utilize insurance industry knowledge to effectively position restoration services.
- Conduct in-person office visits, presentations, and lunch & learns.
- Leverage existing professional networks to generate new opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.
- Sales & Revenue Growth
- Identify and secure new commercial and residential restoration opportunities.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Maintain and grow a measurable referral pipeline.
- Track activity and performance metrics within CRM systems.
- Conduct proactive follow-up via phone, text, and email.
- Marketing & Brand Development
- Support marketing initiatives that increase brand visibility within target markets.
- Assist in executing outreach strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Monitor competitor activity and local market trends.
- Client & Partner Communication
- Serve as the relationship liaison between referral partners and internal operations teams.
- Clearly communicate service capabilities, timelines, and claims processes.
- Maintain consistent and strategic follow-up to strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or relationship marketing.
- Strong insurance industry knowledge (property claims process required).
- Comfortable speaking and presenting to professional audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (phone, text, and email proficiency required).
- Tech proficient (CRM systems, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, marketing tools).
- Strong time management and territory planning skills.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Must be insurable under the companys commercial auto insurance policy.
- Willingness to operate a company-provided vehicle for daily business activities.
- Established network within the insurance, property management, or commercial sectors.
- Experience in restoration, construction, or emergency services.
