Position Title: Carrier Sales Representative I

Position Summary: The Carrier Sales Rep I sources carriers, negotiates rates, and ensures loads are booked and executed successfully in a fast-paced brokerage environment. This entry-level role focuses on high-volume communication, relationship development, and delivering exceptional service.

• Make high-volume outbound calls to secure carriers for available shipments.
• Qualify new carriers and grow the EFS carrier network.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and communicate pricing to sales staff.
• Track shipments from pickup through delivery and provide updates as needed.
• Verify carrier documentation, rate confirmations, and temperature requirements.
• Assist with obtaining invoices, BOLs, and shipment records.
• Maintain accurate load information in the TMS.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in sales, logistics, or transportation.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
