The Director of Corporate Accounts is a key leadership role responsible for managing existing national accounts while driving strategic sales efforts to secure new clients. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional relationship-building skills and a proven track record in national account management and B2B sales.
Primary Responsibilities National Account Management- Serve as the primary point of contact for all existing national account relationships.
- Manage and strengthen client relationships at all organizational levels.
- Conduct regular account reviews to evaluate performance, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Identify growth opportunities within current accounts and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to acquire new national accounts and expand the client base.
- Prospect and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, and other strategic sales techniques.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress and follow-up activities to drive conversions.
- Conduct compelling sales presentations and develop customized proposals that clearly communicate value.
- Negotiate terms and contracts with prospective clients in alignment with company objectives and policies.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, and Operations teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in national account management and B2B sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build executive-level relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess client needs and develop strategic solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
