Location: Columbus, OH (In-Office 40 hrs/week)

Monthly Compensation with Quota: $4000 - $7,000 (Base + Commission)

Overview

The IBC Totes Exchange is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team.

Purpose of the Role

As an SDR, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new through targeted outbound prospecting efforts. This role gives you the opportunity to onboard new vendors, build a strong sales pipeline, and move into an Account Executive position once you meet your performance goals.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting (cold calling, emailing, and social outreach) to identify and qualify potential customers.
  • Generate interest in our IBC totes buyer program and communicate its value to prospects.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to set up meetings and pass qualified leads for further engagement.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and pipeline development.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects and accounts.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a sales or business development role, ideally in a B2B or technology environment.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone, email, and social media.
  • Ability to research, identify, and target potential business opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Hub Spot, Salesloft, etc.) is a plus.
  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to promote a sense of urgency in reaching goals and key deliverables.
  • Willingness to grow within the Sales organization and take on additional responsibilities.
