Position
:
The Senior Oncology Account Manager is responsible for direct promotion of Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ products, and the development and management of business relationships with therapeutic specialists within an assigned geographical territory. The Senior Oncology Account Manager (OAM) is an integral part of the commercial team that includes all personnel dedicated to the sales and marketing functions. The Senior Oncology Account Manager will implement Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ marketing strategies and marketing tactics to achieve sales goals through short-term and long-term objectives.
This position reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
Responsibilities- Strategic Account Management: develop customer understanding, manage accounts, and leverage dashboards, alerts, omnichannel reports, speaker programs, and conference attendance to inform account strategy.
- Strategic Planning: define measurable objectives, develop tailored strategies and tactics, determine resources, and continuously review the strategic account plan in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

maintain an enterprise mindset, collaborate with marketing, medical affairs and market access, and lead as the main point of contact for designated accounts where appropriate. - Selling Effectiveness: promote Jazz Oncology products to physicians and health care providers, build a network-selling mindset, stay informed about industry trends, and use analytics to inform actions.
- Product and Scientific Knowledge: educate healthcare professionals on Jazz products, maintain current knowledge of indications for focus areas (SCLC and GI Cancers), and address questions per compliance guidelines.
- Execution: organize meetings, represent the company at conferences and events, use CRM tools to manage interactions and territory records, and comply with regulatory guidelines.
- Budget and Compliance: perform activities within allocated budgets and adhere to applicable federal and state regulations.
- Four-year college/university degree
- Experience in Oncology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with effective presentation style in person and virtual settings
- Ability to meet territorial travel requirements
- Post-graduate business school study or training
- Minimum of 5 years in the oncology market
- Strong clinical, technical and scientific knowledge of product(s) and disease states
- Strategic thinker capable of driving a strategic account business plan
- Key account management experience in complex academic and community accounts
- Strong business acumen with problem solving and data analytics skills
- Experience with GI, HER2 landscape, biomarker-driven therapeutics and/or Lung Cancer preferred
- Frequent travel between meeting sites
- Frequent use of computer, printer, telephone and office equipment
- Interaction with external contacts in an office environment
- Work schedule may include hours outside normal business hours
- Frequent public contact requiring appropriate business apparel
