Job Description:
- The Portfolio sales consultant role is for a sales professional capable of navigating the sales process and organization.
- Targeting, developing, assessing, and maintaining an understanding of systems, customer stakeholder roles, processes, contracts, and long-standing business relationships.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of key drivers, influences, and patterns in the assigned territory.
- Provide quality consultative information to professionals and customers.
- Sell, coordinate, and promote a portfolio of radiology products/services within the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders. Service existing accounts, develop prospects, and coordinate sales and marketing presentations. Coverage area:
Columbus, OH metro. - Position is residence-based in Columbus, OH; candidate must reside within the territory and be willing to travel up to 50%.
- Build positive customer relationships, penetrate systems/accounts, identify decision makers, and navigate their buying process.
- Regularly contact and present to customers to promote and sell pharmaceutical products, aiming to meet or exceed quotas.
- Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and hospitals to sell products and provide information.
- Create territory plans with goals and resource allocations.
- Utilize EVS skills and resources to assist customers and develop account business plans.
- Partner proactively with customers, stay informed on trends, and develop account strategies.
- Gain formulary acceptance and compliance with accounts.
- Report sales, market info, competition, ideas, and inquiries to management.
- Maintain scientific knowledge of products and attend relevant meetings.
- Control expenses, maintain company property, handle expense reports, and stay current on product info.
- Adhere to pharmaceutical compliance codes.
- BBA/BS degree.
- At least 2 years of significant sales or customer experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Bachelor's in Biological sciences or related field.
- Over 5 years of sales or customer experience, with at least 2 years of related experience.
- RT or strong clinical radiology understanding.
