Overview
Mix Contract Talent, a division of Mix Talent, is building a new team of Long-Term Care Account Specialists (LTC AS) who will be working on behalf of our client, Sumitomo, to promote an overactive bladder product within Long-Term Care facilities. We are seeking results-driven sales representatives who are motivated to deliver strong sales results in this market.
The LTC AS will be responsible for the promotion of Sumitomo’s product, by executing strategic sales plans that drive product adoption and growth within assigned accounts. This field-based role requires building strong relationships with clinical and business stakeholders, executing strategic sales plans, and maximizing market impact. The LTC AS will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to navigate access and reimbursement dynamics and ensure exceptional follow-through and patient access.
Responsibilities- Call on Long-Term Care (LTC) facilities within an assigned geography, engaging and influencing multiple stakeholders through in-office visits to build product acceptance, drive product growth, and achieve sales objectives.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and dynamic business plans that achieve sales targets and support long-term account growth
- Execute marketing strategies effectively leveraging available resources to maximize impact and meet or exceed all objectives
- Partner with Regional Account Manager(s) to drive product pull-through, support contracting, and align on account strategy.
- Apply knowledge of CMS regulations, payer dynamics, and facility operations to position products effectively, overcome access barriers, and drive growth.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key clinical and business stakeholders to influence decision-making and drive product adoption within accounts
- Maintain and leverage deep knowledge of product, reimbursement, and the competitive landscape to execute sales strategy and overcome objections
- Address customer concerns and coordinate with appropriate internal and external partners to resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
- Accurately document sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights in CRM systems
- Collaborate with teammates by gathering, analyzing, and sharing market data, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to help inform and shape overall strategy
- Conduct all activities in full compliance with company and client policies and industry regulations
- Successfully and actively participate in all sales training and sales meetings
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years B2B sales experience required, with a science background, home health sales, or pharmacy sales preferred or 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience
- LTC experience preferred
- Understanding of account management and ability to drive sales in his/her territory
- Experience selling in the OAB therapeutic area preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships
- Proven and consistent track record of achieving sales goals
- Ability to facilitate and lead relevant and compliant discussions on clinical and economical product benefits
- Strong communication, negotiation, and account management skills
- Demonstrated understanding of LTC market dynamics, payer systems (Part A, Part
D), specialty distribution, and applicable LTC regulations - Proficiency with CRM platforms and other sales technology
- Must meet vaccine and facility access requirements
- Travel is required throughout the territory. Overnight stays may be required depending on the assigned territory and business needs, including meetings, training, and conferences, which occasionally may extend over multiple days and include weekend travel.
