Drayage Specialist

What you’ll be doing.

• Energize your creativity to identify and self-generate new leads within the drayage market in the US and MX. Seek out potential clients and establish initial contact. Be able to convert warm leads into a sale.
• Initiate sales calls and develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders including shipping lines, logistics providers, freight forwarders, and port authorities.
• Utilize your exceptional negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial agreements with clients, carriers, and suppliers.
• Stay on the cutting edge of industry trends, keeping a finger on the pulse of the drayage landscape to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth and efficient drayage operations.

• Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling prospects and making a sale.
• Master at closing deals with proven experience in hunting and closing business.
• International, drayage, or logistics sales experience preferred.
• 2+ years of professional sales experience preferred.
• Willing to go the extra mile to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
• Entrepreneurial and competitive spirit (if you’re not first, you’re last).
• Strong ability to sell and negotiate with confidence and a winning attitude.
• Maintain composure in high-stress scenarios.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills with ability to recognize and prioritize profitable opportunities.
