Overview

As part of the Orkin Commercial sales team, you will bring a highly persuasive pitch backed by a brand that has protected homes and businesses for almost 125 years. You will have award‑winning training, a competitive pay structure, and the opportunity to grow into leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
  • Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
  • Serve as an empathetic problem solver for commercial customers by utilizing in‑depth training to recommend the best innovative overall solution for each customer's needs.
  • Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.
  • Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.
  • Conduct an inspection of the interior and exterior of the customer's commercial property.
  • Make recommendations to customers based on your inspection and identified issues, explaining the solution and setting expectations.
  • Use the company iPad to prepare sales agreements and maintain organization.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • No prior experience required; sales experience is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company will pay).
  • Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.
Physical Demands / Working Conditions
  • Safely use a ladder within manufacturer weight limits.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops, with the ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Wear personal protective equipment; sometimes an OSHA‑compliant respirator is required.
  • Work in various weather conditions.
