We’re a leading food distribution company that has built a culture of rewards, recognition, and respect. The Area Manager is responsible for developing independent account business and driving overall profitability through new sales and account penetration.

• Generate additional business by analyzing sales territory and individual customers; sample products, plan general sales strategy, and conduct effective presentations.
• Grow sales and profit margins to meet established goals.
• Set up new customer accounts, determine pricing, coordinate with Credit Department and center personnel, and ensure product delivery satisfaction.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by resolving issues and coordinating with center staff; may handle emergency deliveries.
• Penetrate existing accounts to maximize profitability.
• Monitor accounts to minimize receivable problems and follow up on credit issues.
• Stay aware of pricing trends and ensure competitive pricing.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
