Plant Project Engineer

Job Description

Sales role focused on identifying prospective customers, generating leads, and converting opportunities into sales.

• Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion.
• Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs.
• Be knowledgeable about the product.
• Emphasize product features to highlight how they solve customer problems.
• Answer questions about products.
• Negotiate prices and terms.
• Collaborate with colleagues in different sectors.
• Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships.
• Review customer credit status and collect monies owed.
• Complete administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years of industry‑related sales experience within the distribution or supplier community.
• Must provide own transportation, valid driver’s license, and current insurance.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills and social perceptiveness.
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and email.
• Goal oriented, focused, and able to excel with minimal supervision.
• Self‑motivated to maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
