Sales Manager – Ulta Beauty
Ulta Beauty invites applications for the position of Sales Manager. The role focuses on leading a team to achieve top‑line sales growth, deliver an exceptional guest experience, and uphold the company’s mission, vision, and values.
OverviewAs a Sales Manager, you are responsible for overseeing a team of Beauty Advisors, Prestige Beauty Advisors, and Lead Cashiers (excluding boutiques). You will manage all aspects of daily retail operations, including sales, service, operational processes, and guest satisfaction. You will maintain Net Promoter Score (NPS) metrics and guide the store to meet or exceed company sales goals, payroll targets, omni‑channel objectives, and inventory control standards.
PrincipalDuties & Responsibilities
- Promote accountability and drive performance across sales, service, guest loyalty, payroll, omni‑channel, and shrink metrics.
- Analyze financial and operational reporting; develop strategies to improve profitability and sales growth.
- Use store forecasts and payroll budgets to support scheduling and communicate needs to the GM.
- Plan and execute in‑store events that enhance guest experience and meet sales and payroll goals.
- Perform product demonstrations, makeup applications, and skincare analysis to drive sales.
- Stay informed on industry trendsтов and product knowledge to better serve guests.
- Enforce attendance and ensure associate compliance with Ulta Beauty Viral policy.
- Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team; address staffing needs and open positions.
- Build a highly engaged, collaborative team that embodies the Ulta brand and encourages growth.
- Support associate development through training, coaching, performance reviews, and individual development plans.
- Maintain compliance with all Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, dress code, and security standards.
- Manage scheduling, task prioritization, inventory control, loss prevention, and day‑to‑day operations using company tools.
- Communicate feedback to field leadership on business trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2–3+ years of fast‑paced retail management or comparable experience不.
- Financial management: success in driving sales, interpreting reports, managing payroll budgets, controlling expenses.
- Retail management: proven ability to monitor inventory, achieve operational excellence, foster a service culture, and execute merchandising directives.
- Leadership: experience attracting, developing, motivating talent, managing change, developing collaborative relationships, and leading teams.
- Proficient with basic technology (POS, Microsoft Office, Apple devices).
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to react under pressure, use good judgment, and mesaj adapt.
Position Requirements
- Work a flexible, full‑time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attend corporate meetings and conferences.
- Continuous mobility, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching during shift.
- Frequent lifting/moving up to 25 lbs. and manipulation of objects.

Salary & BenefitsPay range: $24.00‑$31.00 per hour, eligible for additional bonus compensation. Full‑time employees earn paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
