As a Bakery Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver more of what members love, for less. You will model expertise in bakery and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the club meets members' expectations.

$24.00/hr – $32.00/hr

• Be a Team Leader:
  Supervise the team within the bakery department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club.
• Be an Expert:
  Maintain an in-depth knowledge of floor, backroom operations, product specifications, and seasonality to meet standards of quality, inventory, equipment usage, production, safety, sanitation, and compliance.
• Be a Techie:
  Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
• Be an Owner:
  Drive business results, ensuring commitment to operational excellence; maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area; plan staffing for weekly volumes; uphold quality, safety, and policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Teach and train the team, identify training needs, provide development, encourage career growth, and source new talent.
• Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs; analyze information; monitor progress; identify improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics; guide application; implement action plans.
• Lead and participate in teams by sharing resources, setting priorities, coordinating work, providing feedback, and modeling adaptability.

The hourly wage range for this position is $24.00 to $32.00*.

• The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.

• 6 months experience in a bakery production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed period if hired.

• Bakery production including decorating.
• Experience supervising associates.
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
