Facilities Associate – Store Cleanliness & Customer Experience

At TJX Companies, we value a clean, welcoming store environment and superior customer service. As a Facilities Associate, you will keep our retail space spotless, support the team across the store, and represent our brand’s commitment to quality.

• Maintain floor care standards, operating the scrubber and buffer, dust and damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and spot‑cleaning glass and windows.
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss‑prevention standards, including health and safety policies.
• Cross‑train to support multiple store areas (Backroom, Front End, Sales Floor).
• Support Front End coverage needs and store recovery initiatives throughout the day.
• Communicate effectively with management and Associates, upholding company policies on labor laws, breaks, and meal periods.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Excellent customer service skills (verbal and written).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and run floor buffer and scrubber; capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Flexible schedule to support business needs and ability to multitask respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Retail customer experience preferred; strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

$13.00 – $13.50 per hour (starting pay range). Actual starting pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
