• Operate dishwashing machines to clean and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and cooking equipment, ensuring they are free from contamination before reuse.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean by removing trash, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning surfaces and equipment.
• Support other kitchen staff by restocking supplies, unloading deliveries, and preparing cooking stations as needed.
• Use and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machines and hand wash stations.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Place items on the service line and serve food: doughnuts, cereals, fruit, butter, syrup, desserts, napkins, paper cups, dishes, and serving utensils; turn on steam table and grill.
• Clean cafeteria equipment and tables: wipe tables, replace salt and pepper shakers, clean steam tables, counters, tray rails, juice, drink, and coffee dispensers, and other cafeteria equipment.
• Perform miscellaneous related duties.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards.
• Ability to lift, stand, and walk up to eight hours per day.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with the public.
• Experience not specified (prior food service/cleaning experience preferred).
