Position: RUSTY BUCKET CLINTONVILLE-HOST

Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern is seeking a Host to join our team!

Who are we? We are a fun, fast, friendly neighborhood tavern.

What is your role? To make “Raving Fans” of our Associates, Guests, Purveyors, Partners, and the Communities in which we do business.

Summary: It is the responsibility of the Host to make raving fans of the five major groups of people we do business with by creating a positive first impression and making our guests feel welcome on the phone and in person. The Host controls the seating of the guests in the dining room to assure the quality of service, guest satisfaction, and maximize sales opportunities.

Essential Functions of the Position
  • Report to work on time as indicated on the work schedule. Uniform meets restaurant requirements and is maintained and cleaned. Practices positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts.
  • Exemplify hospitality standards. Answer guests' questions about the restaurant. Handle requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
  • Cooperate with management and co-workers to assist others with duties, if needed. Communicate suggestions for improvement in a positive fashion.
  • Follow all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines as specified by the restaurant. Report potentially unsafe conditions and use materials and equipment properly.
  • Know emergency procedures in the restaurants.
  • Perform all duties and maintain knowledge of all standards and procedures as stated in the associate handbook.
