This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area for a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. The Postdoctoral Fellow will engage in advanced research under the mentorship of faculty, contributing to innovative experiments and projects. Responsibilities include designing and performing experiments, analyzing data, conducting literature reviews, authoring scientific publications, and presenting research findings lab oration with interdisciplinary research teams and aiding in grant applications may also be required.
The Fellow may participate in mentoring students and contributing to a collaborative academic environment.
- Strong skills in research design, data collection, and analysis
- Experience with scientific writing, manuscript preparation, and presentation of research findings
- Knowledge in relevant scientific techniques and instrumentation
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse research teams
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Doctoral degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in a related field
- Experience in biomedical research or a related domain is preferred
- Commitment to academic integrity and ethical research practices
