First Shift

The Researcher I will advance the cancer engineering component of the Engineering Better Decisions Laboratory (EBD) through rigorous computational and mathematical research. This position focuses on developing and validating mechanistic models to assess cancer risks, specifically utilizing stochastic and deterministic methods. The researcher will be responsible for deriving theoretical components, translating them into source code, and driving results toward publication.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• 3 years of relevant experience required with Associate's Degree
• 1 year of relevant experience required with Bachelor's Degree

$38,625- $50,437.50

This is a full time 30 hour a week position. This position is contingent upon funding and will end on or before a one-year term of employment, with possibility of renewal based on continued availability of funding and performance. Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
