Position
Description:
To pursue specialized research training, education, and experience under the guidance of a scientific mentor in the Division of Rheumatology within the Department of Internal Medicine. Responsibilities include designing and executing experiments of considerable scope and complexity, focusing on aspects related to autoimmunity; collecting and analyzing data for research sponsored by appropriate agencies and institutions; identifying and selecting problems to study;
developing and troubleshooting new experimental techniques and protocols; attending research seminars; contributing to manuscript preparation and supporting technical writing; participating in the preparation of grant applications for extramural funding; performing additional duties as assigned.
Doctoral degree in Biological Sciences required;
Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
