* Work closely with QA engineers, developers, and business analysts to understand data requirements.
* Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues during test execution.
* Intermediate understanding of databases (SQL preferred).
* Familiarity with software testing concepts and SDLC.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
* Exposure to test data management tools (e.g., Informatica TDM, Delphix) is a plus.
* Knowledge of data masking and synthetic data generation techniques.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
* Analytical mindset and eagerness to learn.
* Under guidance, carries out procedures to ensure all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements.
* Analyzes and reviews requirements, user stories and technical work products.
* Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
* Uses the appropriate quality engineering tools to design and create the automation needed.
* Validates basic test results, records and researches defects.
* With guidance leverages appropriate test engineering and automation tools and techniques for each technology domain and application.
* Assists in the identification of means to deliver more effective and efficient testing, without compromising quality.
* Executes basic to moderate release testing and backs out testing when needed.
* Identifies, documents, and reports several release test results.
* Addresses defects found in release testing and works with the appropriate team members to resolve open testing issues or testing questions.
* Aligns with the Nationwide automated testing reference architecture.
* Complies with release management process governance and timelines throughout the release.
