About this RoleGeneral Description
The Operations Quality Lead I will be responsible for assisting in a pursuit or project with senior level guidance. Assist in developing a project-specific Quality Management Plan (QMP), narratives and deliverables for a pursuit. Work in close cooperation with the pursuit team leads, Project Managers for the monitoring and oversight of project quality activities, for QISG’s projects. Position will develop narratives for proposals and create contract required quality documents/forms as needed.

Duties
- Reviews established quality requirements for design-build and EPC Projects into quality plans. Including identifying the standards, guidelines and checklists appropriate for the project.
- Work with project management team in the finalization of a projects QMP’s after award during the planning stage.
- Work with a project management team to develop quality checklists in Procore.
- Manage document control as it relates to quality within Procore.
Monitoring and Oversight
- Monitor pursuit and planning procedures and processes with QMS requirements.
- Participate in systematic and independent examinations/audits.
- Review that contract specified Factory Acceptance Testing, QA/QC testing, monitoring and records documentation are incorporated into the project quality plans / activities.
- Assist in identifying and documenting issues that may cause, or contribute to, deviations from planned/expected outcomes and assist in developing corrective action plans to address issues.
- Review Quanta Operation Units or subcontractor procedures and quality records to verify compliance.
- Assist in compiling and providing internal and external metric reporting on quality objectives.
- Performs any other duties assigned.
- Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
Required Experience and Education
- Associate’s degree in a relevant field or a minimum of two years of experience in quality assurance or related field.
- Basic understanding of quality inspections/audits and quality programs.
- Basic experience in surveillance oversight programs.
- Basic knowledge related to quality assurance processes.
- Understanding of equipment and material specifications and testing requirements.
- Basic understanding of scheduling.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft suite packages, document management software.
Preferred Experience and Education
- Two years of experience in pursuit and marketing of EPC, Design Build or CMAR projects.
- Experience with engineering design, surveillance monitoring or construction planning in the power delivery space.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a construction science or construction management program.
- Experience with Procore and its full suite of tools.
Skills
- Exposure to related design, construction or procurement requirements.
- Basic writing skills using Microsoft word, Bluebeam or similar software.
- Construction techniques, testing, standards of compliance experience.
- Familiar with equipment and material specifications and testing requirements at manufacturer facilities.
- Organizational and planning skills.
- Interpersonal and team-working skills.
