Job Description

The Quality Assurance Project Specialist supports quality initiatives related to Nutrition Science and ingredient qualification within the supply chain. This role focuses on ensuring ingredients, suppliers, and processes meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements
. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple quality-focused projects while collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, procurement, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage quality assurance projects related to Nutrition Science
  • Qualify ingredients within the supply chain to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
  • Assess and support quality assurance protocols and procedures
  • Conduct audits of supplier documentation and manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with R&D, procurement, and production teams to maintain quality standards
  • Analyze data and generate reports on quality metrics and project progress
  • Identify, address, and resolve quality issues throughout the project lifecycle
Required Skills
  • Quality assurance experience in nutrition, food, or regulated industries
  • Ingredient qualification and supplier documentation review
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems
Preferred / Additional Skills
  • Experience with supply chain management
  • Ingredient sourcing or supplier qualification exposure
Candidate Profile
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science, Food Science
    , or related field
  • Experience: 3–5 years of quality assurance experience
  • Work Style: Independent contributor with strong collaboration skills
