Job Opportunity – Neuro ICU Travel Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: April 20, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), day/night rotation every 4 weeks, every other weekend required, 36 hours per week

Highlights:

• Critical care nursing in a specialized Neuro ICU environment with a patient ratio of 1:1-2
• Rotation between day and night shifts every 4 weeks based on unit needs
• Epic EMR system in use; on-call and floating to equivalent or lower acuity units required
• Comprehensive patient population including stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, seizures, neuromuscular diseases, and post-operative neurosurgery patients
• Advanced procedures including invasive neuromonitoring, EVD and ICP monitoring, mechanical ventilation, and EEG monitoring
• Extensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and lift teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required
• Active compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission; education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA only)
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, and intracranial pressure monitoring
• Epic EHR experience strongly preferred
• Previous travel experience required;
  Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• 2 professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director
