Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Level 1 Trauma Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.

Job Details

• Level 1 Trauma center with an 18-bed Operating Room,

• Surgical specialties include General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant,

• Variable shift position covering days and evenings with shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours,

• Primary shift is 4x10-hour days, 6:30-17:00,

• On-call required Monday-Friday 21:00-6:30 and Saturday-Sunday 6:30-19:00 and 19:00-6:30,

• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs,

• Documents patient care in Epic EMR,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license currently in hand,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required,

• Level 1 Trauma center experience required,

• Epic EMR experience required,

• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration,

• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Primary circulator responsibilities with a focus on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases,

• Works closely with the surgical team throughout procedures,

• Experience in ENT, GU, Plastics, or Burns is preferred,

• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration,

• No break between assignments is required when changing representation for this position
