Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day/Night or Night shift; 12-hour rotating schedule with shift assignments assessed every 4-week period; floating required
Highlights:
- Oncology Pod Emergency Department with 1:4 patient ratio
- EPIC charting system utilized throughout the facility
- 15 rooms with 19 beds serving all patient age groups including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- STEMI and Stroke Certified Facility with comprehensive interdisciplinary support
- 14-week contract with potential for 7 consecutive days off at facility discretion
- Full respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services support available
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license) in hand at time of submission
- EPIC experience required
- Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
- Oncology experience preferred but not required
- Experience with blood product administration, central line care, IV vasopressors, and ventilated patient care
- Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Two professional references required (one must be from formal leadership)
