• Active RN license (ICU required)
• Open Heart experience required
• Experience with post-operative cardiac care, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced cardiac monitoring
• Ability to complete all onboarding requirements (health screenings, background check, competency testing, etc.)

• Deliver expert nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients, including post-open heart and cardiac surgical patients
• Provide advanced hemodynamic and cardiac monitoring, including interpretation of EKGs and telemetry
• Manage vasoactive drips, titrate medications, and care for chest tubes, drains, and post-op lines
• Perform ventilator management and respiratory support as needed in the CVICU
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status and progress throughout each shift using accurate charting
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery expectations
• Adhere to infection control, patient safety protocols, and institutional CVICU policies
