We are seeking a full-time Outpatient Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Columbus, OH. The role will involve providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals experiencing mental health and addiction challenges. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care. Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications as appropriate and monitor efficacy and side effects
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Provide patient education and support family involvement as needed
- Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and ethical practices
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and care planning
- Knowledge and experience in prescribing medications and addressing mental health and addiction disorders
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Compassionate bedside manner, cultural competence, and commitment to patient welfare
- Advanced practice nursing certification as a Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP preferred) and active Nurse Practitioner license in Ohio
- Two or more years of experience in mental health or behavioral health settings is preferred
- CPR certification and familiarity with evidence-based behavioral health practices
