Provide high-quality patient care in the Post Anesthetic Care Unit.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and recovery progress post-anesthesia.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transitions.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
Support a positive team environment focused on achieving targets.
Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.
Utilize data and feedback to enhance personal and team performance.
Experience/QualificationsCurrent RN license in Ohio with PACU experience preferred.
Strong understanding of post-anesthesia care protocols and procedures.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Ability to monitor and assess patient vital signs effectively.
Experience with medication administration and treatment protocols.
Team player with a focus on achieving performance targets.
Ability to adapt care plans based on patient responses.
Strong communication skills for patient and family education.
Experience in documenting patient care accurately and timely.
Willingness to engage in performance measurement initiatives.
