Shift: Day/Evening Mix | 4x10s |
06:30–17:00 (varied 8/10/12‑hr shifts totaling 40 hrs/week)

Call Requirement:

• Mon–Fri: 9:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Sat/Sun: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM & 7:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Unit Overview

Join an 18‑room Level 1 Trauma Operating Room performing a wide range of surgical cases, including:

General, Trauma, Robotics, Ortho, Neuro, Spine, Plastics, ENT, Burns, Ophthalmology, Urology, GYN, Laparoscopic cases, and Transplant.

Role Responsibilities

• Circulate for OR cases, primarily Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery
• Support trauma and emergency OR cases
• Collaborate closely with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams
• Document all care in EPIC
• Float within the OSU system as needed
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled

Required Experience

• 2+ years of recent OR RN experience
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma OR required/preferred
• Strong circulating experience across major surgical specialties
• BLS required
• EPIC experience required or willing to learn

Preferred Experience

• ENT, GU, Plastics, Burns
• Prior travel experience

* Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
