- Travel Position (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)

Pay: $2,130.12 /week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)
We are seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse to join our critical care team. This role is ideal for an RN with strong neuro assessment skills, the ability to manage complex neurological conditions, and a passion for delivering high‑acuity patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialized nursing care to patients with neurological injuries and conditions (e.g., strokes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, post‑neurosurgical cases).
- Perform frequent neuro assessments and recognize rapid status changes.
- Manage ventilators, ICP monitoring devices, external ventricular drains, and other critical neurospecific equipment.
- Administer medications, IV infusions, and titratable drips according to ICU protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, neurosurgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and recovery expectations.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BSN preferred
, but ASN accepted depending on experience. - Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- 1–2+ years of ICU experience required;
Neuro ICU experience strongly preferred. - Experience monitoring neurological status, working with neurocritical equipment, and managing high‑acuity cases.
- Strong neuro assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage rapidly changing patient conditions.
- Proficiency in ventilator management and titration of critical drips.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy.
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity ICU environment.
