We are hiring a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner to provide healthcare services within a correctional facility in Dayton, Ohio.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat inmates with acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and respond to emergencies.
- Conduct physical exams, develop treatment plans, monitor patient health, and manage conditions like hypertension and diabetes.
- Administer medications, educate patients on preventive care, and ensure proper documentation of medical records.
- Work closely with correctional staff to maintain safety and adhere to security protocols.
- Qualifications include an advanced nursing degree, current Ohio licensure, DEA registration, BLS certification, and experience in correctional or acute care settings preferred.
- Must pass background checks, be physically capable of demanding tasks, and work independently or as part of a team.
