Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on a night shift requiring an OH or compact RN license and recent acute care references.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit with a focus on general and vascular surgery patients

• Located within a hospital setting

• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30

• No specific float or on-call requirements detailed

• Care for general and vascular surgery patients within a Med/Surg Tele environment

• Locals are accepted at the same pay rate as travelers

• All time off requests must be submitted during the application process

• Assignment is contingent on meeting strict compliance deadlines, especially for credentialing and fingerprinting

• First-time travelers will be considered if all requirements are met

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required at time of consideration

• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program is required

• Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor

• Former employees eligible after a 6-month break; current employees cannot apply as travelers

• Candidates must be able to complete Ohio state fingerprinting promptly upon offer
