Travel RN - Neuro ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring an OH or compact RN license and proficiency in neurocritical care procedures.

Job Details

• Work in the Neuro Critical Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital,

• Care for neurological ICU patients with estimated 1:1-2 nurse-to-patient ratio,

• Day/night rotating shifts with every other weekend required,

• 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM),

• On-call responsibilities are required,

• Floating is required to units of equivalent or lower acuity,

• Epic electronic health record is used,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required,

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Neuro ICU experience,

• Certifications required: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA only),

• Proficient in IV starts, telemetry, ventilators, and intracranial pressure monitoring,

• Epic EHR experience required,

• Previous travel experience preferred,
