Travel RN - Neuro ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position, requiring an active OH or compact RN license, with ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Job Details

• Position is in a Neuro ICU with a combined unit serving PCU and Med-Surg level patients,

• Estimated patient ratios are 1:3 for PCU and 1:4 for Med-Surg patients,

• Night shift schedule, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:30,

• Rotating weeknights, weekends, and holidays are required,

• Floating to different units within the organization as needed,

• Uses Epic EMR; prior experience required,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or compact state RN license required,

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required,

• Minimum two years of PCU or Med-Surg nursing experience required,

• Epic charting experience required,

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred,

Additional Information

• Work with a multidisciplinary team caring for a neuro-focused patient population,

• Holiday and weekend coverage required on a rotating basis,

• Expected to provide care in both PCU and Med-Surg settings within the Neuro ICU,

• Open to RNs with PCU or Med-Surg backgrounds,
