Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Pediatric ICU (CVPICU) night shift assignment requiring an active OH or compact RN license and willingness to float.
Responsibilities- Work in a Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU) setting
- Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
- Floating required to NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and med-surg units as needed
- No local candidates permitted; must reside outside a 60-mile radius
- Duties include providing critical care nursing for pediatric cardiovascular patients and supporting related units when floating
- Strict attendance and punctuality policy; travelers are considered late after 3 minutes
- Returning travel nurses or permanent staff must have a gap of at least 2 years from prior employment at the facility
- No call or on-call responsibilities for this role
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Close to 2 years of pediatric ICU experience preferred
- Must provide 2 supervisory references with at least one from a supervisor or manager
