The staff nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement, patient experience, quality and safety, and cost‑effective care.

The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model. The OR Nurse supports surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, assisting the surgical team, and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative process.

The role includes maintaining sterile technique, managing surgical instruments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams under the direction of the OR Manager.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BNS or BSN) from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN license or interim permit required.
• 2 years of experience in a relevant care setting preferred.
• Maintains current Ohio RN license; meets mandatory educational and health requirements; demonstrates required computer skills.
