Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ohio requiring a current OH or compact license, with strong telemetry skills and night shift availability.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital-based Progressive Care Unit (PCU),

• Cares for patients requiring progressive/step-down level of acuity with estimated nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3,

• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30,

• Required to work weekdays, some weekends, and rotating holidays,

• Must float to units with equal or lower acuity when needed,

• Epic EMR experience is required,

Job Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license required,

• Minimum of 2 years PCU experience required,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Proficient in IV starts and telemetry skills,

• Epic charting experience required,

• Previous travel experience preferred,

Additional Information

• Main responsibilities include providing high-acuity nursing care and monitoring telemetry patients,

• Must be comfortable floating as needed within designated units,

• Team environment with support from experienced staff,

• Holiday work required on a rotating basis,
