Certified Medication Aide – Wallick

Location:

The Ashford on Broad.
Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN.
Pay: $21 per hour plus shift differential with a $1,500 sign‑on bonus.

What You’ll Do
  • Administer medications as prescribed under the direction of a licensed nurse.
  • Promptly report medication requests and adverse reactions to the nurse.
  • Provide personal care and exceptional service to residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, management, and families.
  • Assist with resident hygiene, grooming, and nutrition documentation.
  • Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs.
  • Assist residents with activities and transportation.
  • Lift and reposition residents as needed.
  • Maintain a therapeutic environment.
  • Motivate residents to participate in activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Care or designee.
What We’re Looking For
  • Current valid Medication Aide Certificate authorized by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • CPR certification.
  • Nurse Aide certification.
  • Experience in personal care and medication administration (preferred).
