Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool ICU position requiring night shifts, ICU experience, and current Ohio or compact RN licensure.

• Work in the Critical Care Float Pool covering various ICUs including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, and NCCU
• Hospital-based setting within intensive care units
• Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Flexible floating to ICUs based on staffing needs and patient acuity
• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Uses Epic EMR, with proficiency required
• Primary responsibilities include providing critical care across multiple ICU specialties based on hospital needs
• Position requires adaptability to work in different unit environments within the ICU float pool
• Weekend and night shift coverage is expected
• Must provide care for patients with varying acuity levels in high-intensity settings

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• IV start, telemetry, and ventilator management experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
