Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with at least 2 years of recent OR experience and circulating/scrubbing skills for a day/evening rotating position.

Job Details

• Operates within a hospital-based Operating Room setting,

• Patient population includes neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, robotics, and oncology cases,

• Works a day/evening rotating schedule with a mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week,

• Possible shift combinations include five 8-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or a mix with two 12-hour shifts,

• Call coverage required, typically 2-3 times per 4-week schedule, with evening, night, and weekend options,

• Weekend shifts may be required as needed,

• Uses EPIC for charting and patient records,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license,

• Minimum of 2 years of recent operating room RN experience,

• Current BCLS certification,

• Circulating and scrub experience required,

• Experience with EPIC charting system required,

• Strong preference for experience in neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, robotics (Da-Vinci), and oncology,

Additional Information

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care, including circulating and scrubbing based on departmental needs,

• Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC system,

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care,

• Rotating day and evening shifts, with call and weekend coverage as determined by departmental requirements,
