Job Opportunity – CVOR RN – Ohio

Start Date: February 23, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Friday/Saturday plus one weekday night per week. No call required. Flexibility required.

• Cardiovascular Operating Room specializing in cardiac, vascular, and transplant procedures
• 1:1 patient ratios with focus on advanced heart and vascular surgical interventions
• State-of-the-art 7-room surgical suite equipped with hybrid OR capabilities and robotic surgical systems
• EPIC charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Level I Trauma Center experience provides exposure to complex, high-acuity cases
• Opportunity to work with diverse case mix including CABG, valve replacements, AAA repairs, TAVR, and EVAR procedures

• Minimum 3 years overall Operating Room experience
• 2+ years dedicated cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience
• 1 year CVOR experience required
• 1 year Level I Trauma facility experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
• Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license) in hand at time of application
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• 2 professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor

This position offers the chance to work in a specialized heart hospital environment focusing on advanced cardiovascular and vascular care. You'll be part of a skilled team performing a comprehensive range of open and endovascular procedures, including complex cases such as ascending and descending aortic dissections, ECMO support, and advanced robotic-assisted surgeries. The night shift schedule provides work-life balance with a structured three-night rotation and no call responsibilities, while the 1:1 patient ratio allows you to deliver focused, high-quality perioperative care to cardiac and vascular surgery patients.

Note:

This is a travel nursing assignment. Compliance requirements must be completed by the Tuesday prior to start date. Ohio fingerprinting must be completed immediately upon contract signing. Former employees must have been away from the facility for at least 6 months to be eligible.
