Overview

RN, Surgical/Oncology, Day vides general nursing care to patients and families in diverse acute care settings. The department operates 24/7/365.

• Assessment/Diagnosis:
  Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments as applicable to the population or individual.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning:
  Document planned nursing interventions based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems to achieve appropriate patient outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation:
  Evaluate and document response to nursing interventions and reassess plans with a multidisciplinary team; revise plan of care based on evaluative data.
• Leadership:
  Participate in process improvement activities to achieve targeted clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Operations:
  Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in performing job duties as part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO).

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio
• BLS certification
• BSN required at 5 years of employment
